KPhiG Gamma Chapter had an amazing Fall 2023 filled with various events!

Our sisters tabled at exciting recruitment events. Late Night pushes all on-campus organizations to promote and meet the incoming freshmen, Mosaic Mixer allows the cultural clubs and coalitions to do so, and Mosaic Asian Night collaborates with the Asian-based organizations at Baylor to further build connections as well. We loved meeting a variety of girls at these tabling events!

Throughout this semester, we have also had the privilege to raise money for Sunshine Kids, a nonprofit organization that helps children with cancer. We held our Be the Change event, a nationwide KPhiG fundraiser, with care kit making and packaging. In addition, we held a profit share with Cha Community in October and an additional one with Mantra and Co., a South Asian nonprofit for cultural apparel and products, in November. We have enjoyed these fundraisers and the partnerships we built with these organizations!

Our sisters also enjoyed a variety of social events. We held our Semi-Formal in November with dinner at Di Campli’s. Further, we held a bowling mixer with the brothers of Delta Epsilon Psi. In November, we also attended the Indian Subcontinent Student Association’s (ISSA) Mock Shaadi, meaning mock or fake wedding, where South Asian culture and pride was built and encouraged. Our very own Shreya acted as the bride as well! We ended the semester with an ornament painting event hosted by the sisters of Delta Kappa Delta as a part of the Unified Greek Council (UGC) events.

As our Fall 2023 semester ends, we are excited to see what the upcoming months bring for our sisters. We are grateful to have experienced a lively semester with fundraising, social, and service events!
